Neuroplasticity
Neuroplastic therapies to treat learning problems.
This new innovation in the treatment of learning disorders uses the brains neuroplasticity or ability to rewire itself to build cognitive capacity and treat learning problems. Neuroplastic therapies involve isolating a specific brain function and then giving the child specially designed tasks to build that brain function. This is an exciting and promising new area of research.
These therapies include computer based activities, and pen and paper tasks that your child can do at home, they may also include talking therapies.
These therapies can improve your child`s ability:
- To read
- To write
- To memorize information
- To keep up in the classroom
- To follow instructions
- To be organised
- To interact socially
- To concentrate
